Adaku wearing an African print wax dress at the Africa Fashion exhibition at the V&A Museum

Africa Through Europe and the Caribbean: Victoria and Albert Museum 24th February 2023

Posted by Adaku Parker on

Last October, I visited the fabulous Africa Fashion exhibition and saw my first book: 'Sewing With African Wax Print Fabric' in not just one, but two of the V&A's gift shops.  Well, this month, I return to return to the V&A for a special members only event. I'll be talking about African fabrics and giving an insight into what goes on behind the scenes of bringing a book idea to life as well as the creation of the patterns, garments, and accessories.
