Have you always wanted to sew but never had the time, space or confidence to learn? If yes, this sewing introductory session is for you. Sessions will take place at our premises in East London every Tuesday and Wednesday evening between 6:30 pm and 8 pm.
What you will learn: Be introduced to the anatomy of a sewing machine - how to thread your machine - some of the most commonly used sewing feet - how to adjust your thread tension, stitch length and width - how to sew some of the most commonly used seams. Plus, you leave with samples.
All materials included.
Level: This workshop is best suited to a sewing beginner.
Cost: £20 (excluding optional £5 sewing machine hire). Kindly notify me as soon as possible if you require use of a sewing machine.
Maximum class size: 6.
Location: 397 - 411 Westferry Road, London, E14 3AE
Food and drink: You will have full use of the shared kitchen area and facilities including tea and coffee. This also includes use of the fridge and microwave. Kindly bring your own food as eating establishments in the immediate area are limited.
