*SEW THE LOTTIE CULOTTES WORKSHOP*

This project is an intermediate 'make' bringing together techniques for making very simple culottes with an elasticated waistband.  The workshop runs for 5 hours on Tuesdays between 11 am and 4 pm. 

What you will learn: How to cut your fabric - Pattern placement - Transfer pattern markings - make two trouser legs and sew them together - insert elastic into channel.

All materials included: fabric, thread and elastic.

Level: This workshop is best suited to a beginner as it requires no more than the basic sewing machine skills including being comfortable in sewing straight lines. 

Cost: £75 (teaching and materials excluding optional sewing machine hire* (£5 per day*)).

You are advised to bring a se
wing machine that you are familiar with along with the appropriate foot i.e. a standard foot. If you are unable to bring a sewing machine and would like to make use of a sewing machine on site there is an extra fee of £5 to cover the hire fee. Kindly notify me as soon as possible if you require use of a sewing machine.

Maximum class size: 6.

Food and drink: You will have full use of the shared kitchen area and facilities including tea and coffee. This also includes use of the fridge and microwave. Kindly bring your own food as eating establishments in the immediate area are limited.
